We all know that there are tons of registry fix and cleaner programs out there. There are also many that claim they can speed up your PC and fix computer errors. A lot of them don’t come close to doing what they claim they can do. That is why we like to try each one out before we promote it.

Let’s take a look at Lightspeed PC. First off we LOVE the price, just $29.95 with no annoying monthly fees or junk like that. They claim that after the free scan that it can fix or remove malicious programs like spy ware and any programs causing errors. Since most of the time this is the cause of a slow pc this is a good start. We liked that they claimed to be able to fix registry files instead of just identify them, which is almost useless.

Looking further into their list of what Lightspeed PC can do showed a impressive amount of claims. They start by repairing invalid or corrupt registry entries which will make a difference quickly. Then they remove programs from the start up list based on your usage of the programs. This is good because most people don’t even realize what is starting up every time they boot their computers. Then Lightspeed PC claims to have some other advanced technologies that it uses to speed up boot and shut down speeds. It reorganizes your CPU usage based on what you use most often. We tested this one on my 21 year old sisters lap top. If you have any experience with young adult women and computers then you know hers was in need of some major TLC. Just as suspected the free scan showed registry errors and all types of problems. We ponied up the 29 bucks and set the thing to go to work. We figured that with a 8 week guarantee and product support what was the worst that could happen?

Once it was done the difference was substantial. The computer started up much quickly and she was not waiting long for programs to open or for web pages to load. It seems to have done a damn good job of fixing all the damage she had done to it.
